The Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) was established in 1960 to represent the catering industry. BCA has over 4000 active members nationally and is evolving every day. It’s the umbrella organisation to echo the issues and concerns of approximately 12,000 British-Bangladeshi caterers across the UK. At present the industry employees more than 90,000 people and the curry industry contributes approximately 3.5 Billion sterling to the British economy.
BCA organises various activities to promote the curry industry in Great Britain as well as in Europe. An annual highlight is the BCA Awards, which was launched in 2006. Since inception, we have recognised many entrepreneurs including, best caterer of the year, best chef of the year & honour awardees from across the country.
This year on the 22nd November 2016, we are holding our 11th successful awards ceremony at Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge, London. With over 1200 guests expected from across the country including Lords, Ladies, Members of Parliament, Secretary of state, TV presenter, business icons, MEP, Celebrities and many dignitaries nationally.
At the awards you will get the opportunity to network with influential curry leaders from across the country, served with five course lavish dinner at the ceremony and enjoy performance by national & international performers
